Yogyakarta (Jogjakarta) or in short, Jogja, according to Indonesia Tourism‘s official website “has a special charm, which seldom fails to captivate the visitor”.
My mother’s a native of this historical and rich in nature city. There’s one thing to keep in mind that people rarely mention: the CRAZY heat. I may be exaggerating, but wow can it be very, very hot in Central Jogja. Hence on my recent visit, about a month ago, I opted for a long skirt, muscle-tanks and a dress. They’re breezy on my body while give sophistication to my look, and they also work well when you gotta sit on the local rickshaws. To read more about Jogja, click here.
